About UsFrank Champagne and Thomas Marx founded Champagne and Marx Excavating in 1973. Frank retired in 1986, and husband and wife team Tom and Ginger Marx continued to grow the business. Currently Champagne & Marx is a successful family business run by three of Tom and Ginger’s children. The Marx family is understandably proud of how the company has grown and prospered since 1973, and plans to continue for many more years to come.
